Select Your Therapist
Dear You,
Out of so many options, platforms, therapists, and distractions, your attention came here for a moment — thank you for taking this pause.
Maybe there are already many questions running in your mind…
“Which therapist is right for me?”
“Will therapy actually help me?”
“Will the psychologist understand Indian families, relationships, emotions, and the pressure of modern life?”
“Should I choose an affordable therapist or a more experienced one?”
We understand the noise inside. The overthinking. The hesitation. The confusion between wanting help and not knowing where to begin. But don’t stop here. Let us answer this once and for all.
At SEVEE CARE, we understand that therapy is deeply personal. You are not just choosing a degree, designation, or years of experience. You are choosing a human being with whom you may share the parts of your life you have hidden from almost everyone else.
Every therapist is different. Some may feel softer, some more structured, some more reflective, and some more direct. We intentionally make space for that individuality because therapy should feel human, not robotic.
But what remains common across SEVEE CARE is our understanding, ethics, professionalism, documentation process, therapeutic direction, and emotional responsibility towards clients. Whether you work with an Associate Psychologist or an Expert Psychologist, the foundation of care remains the same.
Our therapists understand both — the culture we come from and the modern challenges we are trying to survive in today. From family pressure, marriage expectations, emotional neglect, loneliness abroad, burnout, anxiety, relationship struggles, identity confusion, career stress, and the silent pressure of “holding everything together” — our therapists work with an understanding that feels emotionally relatable to Indians globally, including Indians living outside India.
As Sigmund Freud once said, “Before you diagnose yourself with depression or low self-esteem, first make sure you are not, in fact, just surrounded by idiots.” While humorous, it reflects something deeply important — context matters. Sometimes people are not “broken”; they are emotionally exhausted, unheard, unsupported, invalidated, overstimulated, or surviving environments that continuously affect their mental health.
At SEVEE CARE, we try to be mindful therapists. We do not believe therapy is only about giving labels. We believe in understanding the roots beneath the diagnosis — the environment, relationships, emotional history, coping styles, behaviour patterns, and experiences shaping the person sitting in front of us.
Expert Psychologists
There are certain people in life who make you feel understood within minutes — not because they have memorised theories, but because years of experience have taught them how to truly listen, observe, reflect, and guide with depth.
Our Expert Psychologists bring emotional steadiness, therapeutic maturity, professionalism, ethical practice, and refined clinical understanding developed through years of active counselling work. Along with their expertise, they continue to learn, adapt, supervise, reflect, and grow — because we believe good therapists never stop being students of human behaviour.
We especially recommend Expert Psychologists for people looking for deeper emotional work, relationship complexities, trauma work, long-standing behavioural or emotional patterns, personality concerns, or more experienced therapeutic guidance.
Associate Psychologists
Do you remember a time in your life when you had practiced enough, earned the degree, worked on yourself, and were simply waiting for the right door to open — just to show how capable and limitless you truly are?
Our Associate Psychologists stand at that point in their journey. They are already in active practice with foundational professional experience and bring enthusiasm, adaptability, emotional sensitivity, professionalism, and modern therapeutic learning into the room. They charge less not because they deserve less, but because they are still building experience, credibility, and their space in the field while investing in themselves alongside you.
We especially recommend Associate Psychologists for people who believe therapy is important but are also trying to stay mindful of their budget. Sometimes the right therapist is not the oldest in the room, but the one who is deeply present, willing to learn, emotionally invested, and genuinely committed to walking the journey with you.
Overall, we would like to conclude with this:
At SEVEE CARE, we do not work as brokers between clients and therapists. We are a mission-led emotional, mental, and relationship health company where therapists, psychologists, and counsellors work in alignment with SEVEE’s vision, values, ethics, emotional understanding, and therapeutic culture.
We don't serve neurosis, we treat them - a quote by our founder Parita
Meaning - We do not believe therapy should create dependency, emotional helplessness, or lifelong attachment to the therapist. Our goal is not to “serve neurosis,” but to help individuals understand, regulate, and heal it.
Neurosis, in simple understanding, refers to unhealthy emotional and behavioural patterns developed through unresolved fear, anxiety, guilt, trauma, emotional conflict, overthinking, dependency, perfectionism, people-pleasing, emotional suppression, or unhealthy coping mechanisms that begin affecting relationships, identity, emotional stability, and daily life.
At SEVEE CARE, therapy is not about encouraging emotional suffering as identity.
It is about helping people:
-
reconnect with themselves,
-
develop emotional awareness,
-
build healthier relationships,
-
regulate emotions consciously,
-
strengthen resilience,
-
and move toward emotional wisdom, responsibility, and growth.
Because healing is not becoming dependent on therapy.
Healing is slowly becoming able to hold yourself with more clarity, stability, honesty, and compassion.
Thank you for choosing us to be part of your beautiful journey.
Love & Care,
Team SEVEE
