Work With SEVEE

Do you want to work somewhere that feels like more than a place to take sessions? A place where your professional life isn't reduced to appointments, KRA reports and the number of sessions on your calendar?

SEVEE is for psychologists and counsellors who want to practise their profession seriously while still feeling that they belong.

What You Can Expect at SEVEE

A professional community, not just a platform

You won't simply be connected with a client and left on your own. You become part of a community of practitioners who are at different stages of their professional journey and bring different experiences and perspectives.

A place to feel seen, heard and belonged

The same sense of safety, understanding and belonging that we hope clients experience should also exist among the people doing the work. You should have a space where you can be yourself, ask questions, share experiences and have honest conversations.

Professional and personal growth

Your development doesn't stop with a degree or years of experience. Through SEVEE Socials, supervision, peer learning, case discussions and continuous professional training, you get opportunities to strengthen your counselling practice while also understanding yourself better, recognising your own roadblocks and building resilience.

Exposure to a diverse client community

You may work with individuals, couples, parents, families and teenagers from different backgrounds, cultures and parts of the world, including Indians living abroad. This brings opportunities to broaden your understanding of people, relationships and the different contexts in which they live.

A space where learning is ongoing

Being experienced doesn't mean having all the answers. Being an Associate doesn't mean having less to contribute. There is room for everyone to learn from one another, receive feedback, seek guidance and continue developing.

Meaningful work with purpose

The work is not about changing people into someone else. It is about helping them gain clarity, understand their challenges and roadblocks, build resilience, become more mindful of their choices, and move towards their fullest potential.

A place to work professionally. A place to keep growing. A place that can feel like home.

What SEVEE Can Expect From You

Being part of a professional community comes with responsibility. We expect every psychologist and counsellor at SEVEE to bring the following:

Education & Professional Foundation

  • M.A. / M.S. in Psychology is mandatory.

  • Relevant professional training, certifications, specialisations or additional qualifications should be disclosed accurately.

  • Practical counselling or psychological practice experience appropriate to the role.

  • A willingness to work within your education, training, professional competence and scope of practice.

Your Approach to Clients

  • Provide ethical, responsible and client-centred counselling.

  • Understand the person behind the presenting concern and develop thoughtful, individualised approaches rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all method.

  • Exercise sound personal and professional judgement.

  • Approach every client without prejudice based on country, caste, creed, gender, sexuality, culture, language, background, beliefs, lifestyle or personal choices.

  • Respect differences of opinion and perspectives, including those that may differ from your own.

  • Recognise when supervision, additional support or referral is appropriate.

Your Professional Conduct

  • Maintain confidentiality, professional boundaries and appropriate documentation.

  • Communicate professionally and responsibly with clients and the SEVEE team.

  • Remain open to supervision, feedback and guidance from peers and experienced practitioners.

  • Approach your work with humility, curiosity, self-awareness and emotional maturity.

  • Take reasonable responsibility for your own mental and emotional wellbeing and continue your own personal growth.

  • Have the basic technological skills required to conduct professional online counselling.

  • Follow SEVEE's policies, terms and conditions, professional standards and processes.

  • Remain aligned with SEVEE's vision, mission and values.

Your Commitment to Learning

  • Attend SEVEE Socials as a mandatory part of continuous, ongoing professional training and development.

  • Participate meaningfully in relevant supervision, case discussions, peer learning and professional development activities.

  • Remain open to learning regardless of your level of experience.

  • Take ownership of the quality of your practice and your continued professional development.

Two Professional Levels. One Standard.

The designation reflects experience—not a different standard of care or professionalism.

Expert Psychologist

5 or more years of relevant professional experience in psychology, counselling or related professional practice.

Associate Psychologist

Less than 5 years of relevant professional experience in psychology, counselling or related professional practice.

Both roles are expected to meet the same professional standards, remain open to learning and feedback, participate in continuous development, and contribute to the SEVEE professional community.

At SEVEE, experience determines the designation. It does not determine the value of your voice, your willingness to learn, or the standard of care you bring to your clients.
