SEVEE Care Pvt. Ltd. Therapy Contract
Effective Date: [14/10/24]
A therapy contract is a formal, written document that establishes an agreement between a therapist and a client, setting out the expectations, responsibilities, and terms of their therapeutic relationship. It typically serves as a mutual understanding of what each party can expect, the boundaries of the relationship, and the rules to ensure an effective and safe counseling environment.
A therapy contract functions not only as a legal safeguard but also as a framework to promote transparency, safety, and collaboration between the therapist and client
Therapy Contract – SEVEE CARE PVT. LTD. This Therapy Contract outlines the understanding, responsibilities, boundaries, and working relationship between SEVEE CARE PVT. LTD. (“SEVEE CARE”) and the client (“you,” “your,” or “client”). By purchasing a membership, booking a session, or availing any service, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms. 1. Nature of Services SEVEE CARE provides mental, emotional, relationship, and psychological support services through qualified professionals associated with the platform. The terms “Therapist,” “Counselor,” and “Consultant” are used interchangeably and refer to the service provider associated with SEVEE CARE. Therapy is a collaborative process and may involve emotional discomfort, self-reflection, behavioral changes, and personal accountability. Results vary from person to person, and no specific outcome can be guaranteed. --- 2. Emergency & Crisis Disclaimer SEVEE CARE does not provide emergency, crisis intervention, or suicide prevention services. If you are: * experiencing suicidal thoughts, * at risk of harming yourself or others, * facing a medical or psychiatric emergency, * or require immediate assistance, please contact emergency services, visit the nearest hospital, or seek immediate in-person support from a qualified medical professional. --- 3. Membership & Therapist Allocation Services are provided under a SEVEE CARE membership and are not tied to any individual Therapist. While we try our best to accommodate Therapist preferences, Therapist allocation depends on: * availability, * schedule compatibility, * membership validity, * specialization, * and operational requirements. In cases where: * a Therapist is unavailable, * absent, * discontinues services, * resigns, * takes leave, * or is otherwise unable to continue, SEVEE CARE may assign: * an alternate Therapist, * a proxy Therapist, * or a more suitable specialist. Clients are free to request a change of Therapist, and such requests will be considered subject to availability and clinical suitability. If the presenting concern falls outside the Therapist’s area of expertise, SEVEE CARE reserves the right to refer the client to a specialist better suited to the concern presented. --- 4. Session Structure & Timing Sessions are conducted primarily through scheduled video sessions unless otherwise specified. Standard session duration: 45 minutes. Sessions extending beyond standard duration may incur additional charges. If a client joins late: * the session will still end at the originally scheduled time, * missed time will not be compensated or extended. If a client does not join: * the Therapist will wait for 15 minutes, * after which the session will be marked as a “no-show.” --- 5. Rescheduling & No-Show Policy Clients are required to reschedule or cancel sessions at least 6 hours before the scheduled session time. The following may result in full session deduction/charges: * late cancellations, * missed sessions, * no-shows, * repeated scheduling disruptions. Clients are responsible for: * tracking their membership validity, * session balance, * appointment timing, * and booking availability. No-Shows would be considered complete sessions and are non-refundable. --- 6. Communication Boundaries Communication outside sessions is limited to: * scheduling, * rescheduling, * cancellations, * operational support, * and administrative communication. Therapists are not obligated to provide continuous emotional support outside scheduled sessions unless explicitly stated under a specific service plan. SEVEE CARE reserves the right to define and maintain professional communication boundaries. --- 7. Respectful Conduct & Safety SEVEE CARE is committed to maintaining a respectful and safe environment for both clients and professionals. Clients agree not to engage in: * abusive behavior, * harassment, * threats, * manipulation, * discrimination, * intimidation, * inappropriate language, * sexual misconduct, * or repeated boundary violations. SEVEE CARE reserves the right to: * pause, * suspend, * redirect to a different therapist, * or terminate services or memberships without refund or prior notice in cases involving inappropriate, unlawful, unsafe, or disrespectful behavior. --- 8. Confidentiality & Documentation SEVEE CARE respects client confidentiality. Session notes, progress records, assessments, intake details, and related documentation may be confidentially maintained for: * continuity of care, * professional review, * safety, * supervision, * quality standards, * and administrative purposes. Information will not be shared with third parties without client consent except: * where required by law, * where there is risk of harm to self or others, * where abuse reporting obligations arise, * or where legally mandated authorities require disclosure. --- 9. Recording Policy Recording sessions in any form without prior written consent is strictly prohibited. This includes: * audio recording, * video recording, * screen recording, * screenshots, * or sharing session content publicly or privately. Therapists and SEVEE CARE professionals are also prohibited from recording sessions without explicit consent. --- 10. Technology & Connectivity Disclaimer SEVEE CARE shall not be held responsible for disruptions caused by: * internet failure, * device malfunction, * electricity interruption, * software/platform issues, * or technical problems beyond reasonable control. Clients are responsible for arranging a stable, private, and secure environment for sessions. --- 11. Client Responsibility Therapy is not something “done” to a client. Meaningful progress requires: * participation, * honesty, * consistency, * accountability, * and willingness to engage in the process. Clients understand that: * emotional well-being remains their personal responsibility, * therapy does not guarantee specific outcomes, * and decisions made during or after therapy remain the responsibility of the client. --- 12. Limitation of Liability SEVEE CARE provides services in good faith and with professional intent but does not guarantee: * cures, * outcomes, * relationship success, * behavioral change, * emotional relief, * or life results. SEVEE CARE shall not be liable for: * personal decisions, * emotional reactions, * indirect losses, * relationship outcomes, * business losses, * or Therapist-specific actions outside company-authorized scope. --- 13. Changes to Services & Policies SEVEE CARE reserves the right to: * modify services, * change Therapists, * revise pricing, * update memberships, * and amend policies or terms at any time. Updated terms may be made available on the website or relevant communication channels. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of revised terms. --- 14.
