Hello
I’m Kamakshi Mathur, I’m a psychotherapist and I’m passionate about helping people build healthier, more fulfilling relationships. I work with both individuals and couples, creating a space where you can feel safe, seen, and supported. I often work with concerns like low self-esteem, anxiety, stress, and depression. I have an M.A. in Psychology and use a mix of therapy approaches to find what works best for you. My style is warm, open, and collaborative—and I’m here to walk with you through whatever you’re facing, at your pace.

My Story
Ever since I was in 10th grade, I knew I wanted to study Psychology—even when I didn’t fully understand what the subject was or what it truly involved. I began my journey with Psychology in 11th grade and slowly fell in love with it over the years. During my Master’s program, through therapy training and working with clients, I discovered what truly draws me to this field—something I had unknowingly been doing all my life: holding space for people. I’ve always found myself offering a warm, non-judgmental space where others felt safe to open up, be vulnerable, and feel supported. Realizing that this could become my life’s work felt deeply meaningful—and that’s what continues to guide the way I show up as a therapist today.
I completed my B.A. in Psychology from St. Xavier’s College, Ahmedabad, and my M.A. in Psychology from MSU, Vadodara. I love learning new ways to support my clients better, and I’m always open to feedback so I can make the therapy experience more enriching for both myself and those I work with. While I take a holistic approach to therapy, I often draw from modalities like DBT, ACT, and trauma-informed practices to tailor the work to each individual’s needs.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me watching TV shows, spending time in nature, listening to music, cooking, or hanging out with friends. These are the things that keep me grounded and emotionally fulfilled, so I can show up fully for my clients. Always remember: you can’t pour from an empty cup—taking care of yourself matters too.
